Birth of JesusKay PerezIn the days that Caesar was Emperor, an angel told Mary that she would have a son and to name Him Jesus. He was to be the Son of God, the Messiah. Before Mary gave birth to baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph had to go to Bethlehem for a census. When they got to Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph could not find a place to stay except in a stable. Jesus was born there. Angels told some shepherds nearby about Jesus' birth. They went to Bethlehem and found Jesus laying in a manger. Some Wisemen from the East saw a star and went to Jerusalem to worship the new King of the Jews. King Herod asked the chief priests and scribes where the Christ was to be born. They told him in Bethlehem. Herod told the Wisemen and then the Wisemen followed the star to where Jesus was and they worshiped Him. They brought gifts of frankincense, gold and myrrh. Story found in Matthew 1:18 - 2:23
Some of the puzzles that people list for the public get indexed by the search engines (like Google). Some people find those puzzles and cannot figure out how to make a puzzle of their own. So this page now has the navigation sidebar. There are now buttons on the puzzle so that you can get a clean page, in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button to print. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page. The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic! |
